City Overview
Koh Samui island of Surat Thani Province is located on the eastern side of southern Thailand, some 700 kilometres south of Bangkok and about 80km from the eastern coastline of Southern Thailand. In the evening, Chaweng and Lamai change into a major entertainment destination for anyone who likes to enjoy and discover the nightlife in Koh Samui. In the main street you will find many clubs, bars and discos. In the center of Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach are several good restaurants and trendy bars. On the beach there are many beach bars where you can sit comfortable and enjoy the many cocktails. In addition, many kick boxing matches are held weekly in Koh Samui.
